How to participate:

Who can participate?

Everyone! Support from alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends is the key to success for all Minnesota State Mankato programs and departments.

 

Where the money goes:
Where is my donation going?
All gifts to Minnesota State Mankato projects are directed to the fund indicated on the online giving form. One hundred percent of your gift will benefit the campaign you support.

Please consult your tax adviser to determine the tax-deductibility of your gift. At this time, Community Funded is equipped to process gifts only from domestic donors. There is a $5 minimum for gifts.

 

What happens if a campaign doesn’t meet the goal?
In the event that a project doesn’t quite reach their goal, they will still receive all of the funds donated to go towards their project. After making your gift, spread the word and share your support via social media!

 

What happens if a campaign exceeds the goal?
If the a campaign exceeds it’s total goal, any additional funds will go to benefit their campaign.

 

About making a gift:

Is my donation tax-deductible?
All funds received will be deposited with and distributed through the Minnesota State University, Mankato Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Your gift is considered a charitable contribution. Please consult your tax adviser regarding the deductibility of charitable contributions.

 

Is my payment secure?

Yes! All payments are processed using an encrypted, secure payment gateway. Your credit/debit card information is never shared with the Minnesota State University, Mankato Foundation.

 

Can I support a campaign by mail or phone?

Yes!

To make your gift by phone, please call Cindy Arndt at 507-389-6829 or 800-662-2705 to make your gift over the phone.

You can mail your check (made payable to: Minnesota State University Mankato Foundation). Please include a note with your gift to let us know what campaign you’d like to support. This will help ensure your gift is used as you intended.
